Youngstars are delighted to announce an exciting relaunch of this Holiday Camp at the Eric Liddell Sports Centre, Eltham College. The facilities are nothing short of amazing, covering a stunning 70 acre site, there is a huge sports hall, 4 MUGA pitches (Multi-Use Games area), swimming pool, tennis courts & ample field space to run our vast selection of sports & activities.

Multi-Sports programme
The Youngstars multi-sports programme is guaranteed to be full of fun, games and excitement along with a multitude of sports including; Football, Hockey, Rugby, Tennis, Swimming, Badminton, Cricket, Archery, Athletics, Dodgeball, Tri-Golf, Netball, Basketball & more. Every game, drill and exercise apart from being fun, is designed to improve coordination, awareness, motor skills and above all team work.

Our combined team is a great blend of full time Teachers, Activity Leaders and Professional Sports Coaches who possess the character, enthusiasm and experience to deliver a fun, structured and safe Holiday Camp. This is combined with a strong desire to work with and make a difference with our target age groups

Swimming
We are also delighted to confirm that children will have the chance to swim during the day between the times of 2:10pm-3pm, this is available part of the Multisports Programme

This is an opportunity for children who are confident in the water to have supervised free time in the swimming pool. There will be planned sports activities for those who do not take part in swimming.

Nerf Gun Battle

During the afternoon the hall will be converted into an obstacle course for the kids to enjoy a Nerf Gun battle experience, children will be provided with face covers to protect eyes/face

Swimming is optional and available to over 8’s only
Children must be confident in the water
Showers will not be open
Please bring swim wear and a towel

Ages accepted 5 years to 13 years

-Full Day Sessions 10am-4:30pm £29 (ages 5 – 13 years old)
-Early Drop off (9am-10am) £5

PICK UP & DROP OFF

Parents are welcome to drive into the Leisure Centre Car Park .
It is important that your child is checked in with us each day by a parent or designated guardian unless we have prior written notice.
Our registration & collection point will be at the entrance to main sports hall, just on the right as you walk past reception
Children must be collected by an authorised person at the end of each day. We do not allow children to leave the venue alone without prior written permission.
If you are experiencing a delay please call the site phone on.

Drop off and Collection timings;

Early Bird Drop off – 9am
Main Session Drop Off – 10am
Main Session Collection – 4:30pm
There will be a member of Youngstars staff on hand to direct parents to their drop and collection points.

DURING CAMP

Following registration and intros we will divide our group into ages.
Sanitising and regular hand washing will be promoted throughout the day.
Should your child develop any signs of being unwell whilst at the camp, you will be contacted immediately. You will be responsible for keeping us informed of the nature of any illness and any further developments.
Lunch will be at 12.30pm each day and the children will remain in their groups for the duration.
We have access to both indoor and outdoor facilities, which will allow us to take groups inside periodically should we experience extreme heat or heavy rain during camp days.

What to bring;

Children are not expected to wear any special sports clothing, but a rain jacket is required in case of wet conditions.
In sunny warm conditions, please send your child with a sun hat and apply sun cream prior to arriving at camp and also provide sun cream in kit bags for them to reapply throughout the day as necessary.
It is best to provide layers so your child can remove clothing if they get too hot. All items of clothing should be named.

LUNCH & SNACK

 Please send your child with a healthy packed lunch and drinks- no fizzy or energy drinks and NO NUTS or anything containing nuts.
If attending for both Early Drop Off & Extended Day please pack enough food to last them the day
It is vital that children have plenty of drinking water with them in water bottles for hydration. Water bottles can be refilled at the water fountains at the school/ sports centre grounds.
There will sufficient time throughout the day for drink breaks and lunch.

SWIMMING

Swimming is optional and available to over 8’s only
Children must be confident in the water
Please bring swim wear and a towel (if opted to swim)
Both Boys and girls changing rooms will be available but showers will not be open
Along with a member of staff from Youngstars as well as a lifeguard supervising the session that is provided by the Leisure Center
